Yippie AI Yay? Re-imagining Bavaria’s Biotech ”System Domdey”
October 2024. The success of the Munich biotech hub lured Bavarian politics and its management arms into self-complacency. However, the wind has changed: Broad availability of artificial Intelligence (AI), cautious investors, competitive biotech hubs outside Bavaria – the old boys’ network became patchy. BioM is going to be re-imagined as cluster development strives to connect to new actors, but there are some pitfalls.
